The great thing about using a cute baby onesie as your blank canvas is that the design possibilities are endless. It is easy to create something unique for a boy or a girl — or even something gender-neutral if you or the parents-to-be do not know what the baby will be. This cute creation looks like baby is new around here and it can go on any colorful onesie, or a white one if you use black paint. If you have a baby boy, chances are you have noticed the lack of selection in cute boys clothes. Wander over to the girl’s section and you will find an abundance of adorable outfits in a variety of colors. Now I absolutely love having a boy, but this disparity can be frustrating.
You will be adding straps with the lace. If it is a girl, she will have to have one of these decorated onesies. I very much like this. Very easy to make.

Apply fabric paint with the sponge brush, gently pushing the sponge onto the onesie to avoid moving the stencil. Cut a piece of freezer paper about the size of the onesie.
